"Don’t be so sure!"
Called one turtle dove
"The winner will be
The one blessed from Above.
The race isn’t over
It’s only beginning
When the trail starts narrowing
We’ll see who’s winning!"
Dandy was fine and fast
In the open field
But once inside the woods
He had to yield
Now there were trees
On each side of the trail
That slowed him down
And made him fail.
Now there were trees on each side of the trail that slowed him down…
