The Chut Shel Chessed Talmud Torah services over 130 children between the ages of 3 to 10. In addition to small classes and individual attention, the children receive a hot lunch.

Over 10% of the students come from single-parent families. The school, under Rabbi Arush's guidance, takes responsibility for these children, and does everything possible to provide them with a happy and healthy childhood. This often includes extra tutoring, guidance sessions for both parent and child, purchasing clothing and shoes, as well as making sure that the parent has the financial and emotional resources to properly raise his or her child/children.

The Talmud Torah's annual budget (including rent) is over $228,000.
