B´H
How can oneself restore before Hashem when he/she has sinned or not applied a Mitzvah properly, is there any chance? Probably there is a specific solution for each mitzvah ... Thank you Shana Tova Edited by Javier - 23 September 2009 at 11:10 |

Listen up. There is no way we can pay for all our sins, not even in a few lifetimes. If you read up on the tikunim of the Arizal you will realize that for our generation it is impossible to do what he subscribes. That is the secret that Rabenu revealed. The Rachamim Gedolim of Hashem... In other words if you owe 1.5m dollars (a term borrowed for our purposes), if you attach yourself to a tzaddik like Rav Nachman, you pay only $15 and he pays the rest on your behalf. All you have to do is try not to sin again.

It is very very right ....
Better than our offerings is our behaviours and actsbefore Hashem in life ...I think it is on Tehilim or Mishlei. Thank you Ahuvab |

Aaron, it is very important to have this point clear.
Before a person sins, one has to do everything in their power not to sin. If inspite of that they sinned, then they have to accept that that was Hashem's Will.
I.o.w. bedieved, Hashem wanted you to sin but not lechatchila.
Note that sometimes Hashem makes us sin to indicate to us that we are not holding where we think we are. It is just a message, that we haven't been very honest with ourselves. Edited by ahuvab - 23 November 2009 at 09:40 |

Dear Aaron
I honestly think praying is important as far we "pray sincerely" like into practicing hitbodedus -meditations- where to take conscieousness of our sins or bad thoughs and behaviours. But the sin will not be repaired if you do not act according to the lessons which are behind and we must hold. So, praying is important, most hitbodedus and most at all is not sining again which mean you have learned the lesson and you have hold a new level. |

Sorry for "my english" but I did mean that praying, hitbodedus and "righteous behaviour" has its own importance while all of them help you to not sin again which are the ultamately "meta" in the reaching a G-dly Life. And about your question if Hashem claim for you to sin ...never ever, imho, G-d has done such thing. If the Body of G-d/ Hashem is compounded by the Sefiroths/ Virtues and these one are compounded all of them by one special sefirath which is Tiferet/ Balance, then inmho the sins are outside this body but, sining may you help to discover the other body by oppositition with which one can enter into faith when trying to get a higher level-perspectives/ throughout discussions about events in life, behaviours and so on. I think it is an "ilussion" to think G-d has an "evil side" as some pepople say. But it is right to say, imho, that G-d has eliminated the evil side througth Tiferet/ Balance. The badness appears when there is not equilibrium or there is not health therefore the virtousness has gone... what do you think? Edited by Javier - 24 November 2009 at 22:23 |

If Redemption is meant as to clean our sins inmho it only comes up through suffering. Becasue is when our mind and spiritual self is more bound to a transcedental, G-dly and higher perspective of conscieousness -on G-d-. So I think, the Galut was a blessing from G-d and way on which jews could and were attached to what means a G-dly Life.
I believe in extreme situations and adversities is when one may be closer to G-d...many happiness may one to become fool or "stupid". Indeed Yisrael is meant as one who come close to G-d through Adversity or faight/faith with Hashem. I did not hear it but I believe into any Shechinah htere is a galut: exile, alienation, problems ...and so on. Our faith is to become more righteous through learning from problems inmho

shalom javier, in the talmud and also in the tanya it is written that from a spiritual perspective suffering may be beloved. |

Shalom Aaron
I am very interesting on Talmud Yerusalayim and very probably I will find very nice elucidations and commentaries. Why Yerusalayim? Is smaller ...
Many thanks Aaron! Edited by Javier - 26 November 2009 at 01:57 |

Did you already complete the Talmud Bavli? Usually one learns the Babylonian talmud first since to study the Yerushalmi one, one has to be on a higher spiritual level. Do you really think you should be studying these things? Intellectual enjoyment is not the reason one should learn Torah.
