Emuna kicks in where the brain kicks out. We can't understand the actions of an all-knowing G-d with our limited minds. So even though we don't understand, we just have emuna because we know the principles of emuna - Hashem knows what He is doing, everything He does is for the best, and nothing happens that is not His doing. This emuna is what enabled our forefathers and foremothers to weather seemingly insurmountable obstacles - with emuna, we can too. An awesome CD, highly recommended!
