Nechemiah

Nechemia appears in 13 chapters of Tanach in which he leads the people of Israel back to Jerusalem, following orders to that effect from Koresh King of Persia (the Israeli place of exile). Nechemiah defeats inertia and self serving reluctants, and shows supreme leadership by insisting on devotion to God’s commandments, the lack of which led to the fall of the former Kingdoms.
