Shalom, dear children!

I’d like to share several stories with you that I’m sure you’ll enjoy.

These are wonderful stories about Rebbe Nachman of Breslev, who was a great tzaddik – a very righteous man. I especially want to tell you about his childhood as a sweet and honest little boy – how he behaved, what he saw, what he did, and what he achieved.

The Trip to the Tzaddik

Even as a small child, little Nachman loved Hashem with all his heart. He loved everything that was connected with serving Hashem, such as emuna – the pure and solid faith in Hashem. He was attracted to holiness, for he loved praying and learning Torah. He especially looked forward to the holiness of the Shabbat each week.

Little Nachman lived with his parents in the same house that his great-grandfather the holy Baal Shem Tov used to live in. Whenever the Baal Shem Tov’s disciples, or Chassidim, would come to visit, he’d eagerly run to greet them. He loved to sit among them and listen to their stories about his great grandfather and about the other wonderful miracle-working righteous men, the tzaddikim.
