Living in a Turkey World, Part 4
 
 
The next day, the wise man initiated the final stage of his operation. The wise man got up, shook off all the dirt from his clothes, and sat down at the king’s table. The turkey prince was perplexed. “What are you doing?” the confused turkey prince asked? “I’m sitting at the table. Did you think that turkeys don’t sit at tables? You can be a turkey and still sit at a table.” The turkey prince shrugged, got up, shook of all the dirt from his clothes and sat at the king’s table too.
 
For days, the wise man and the turkey prince sat at the king’s table together, wearing royal clothes and eating royal food. At last, one morning, while the wise man and the turkey prince were sipping some Turkish coffee, the prince looked around the royal dining room, at all the luxurious paintings, delicacies, servants and finally his father, the king. He finally understood: He was a prince, not a turkey.
