The Grouchy Grizzly, Part 4

Isaac invited himself into the bear’s cave
And ignored the bear’s ranting and ridiculous rave.
He patted the bear, with tolerance and caring
And the bear came to respect Isaac for being so daring.

“Anger scares away the people who most love you,
It makes you ugly, unhealthy & clouds your view.
Anger locks the door to spiritual gain
And makes you look like you’re insane”

“I want to help you if I can,
Even though you’re a bear and I’m a man.
I know it’s hard sometimes to control
But it’s worth the work to protect your soul”

“No-one wants to be around a selfish guy
Who only thinks me, me, me & I, I, I
When things don’t go your way, do you holler & shout?
Do you flip your lid ‘till you don’t even know what you’re angry about?”

“I can be your coach if you’ll just let
Everyone will love you, I’ll make you a bet!
When you are about to get angry, think before you do
And think how you’d feel if you were in the other one’s shoe”
