Hardboiled Eggs, Part 8
 
"Listen carefully, Mr. Weatherbee", Jerry said as patiently as he could,
"I’m not a soldier anymore; I’m a simple farmer that loves animals and humanity, just as I should.”
 
 My goal in life is to help others, not to harm them, heaven forbid.
I won’t step on an ant, much less harm a fellow human. I think you’ve flipped you lid!”
 
Even as a soldier, I never used force unless I was attacked or my life was in danger.
 
Try to calm down. I guarantee you the honesty of this stranger.
 
I’ll testify for Dwayne Hodges. I give you a million percent guarantee
he’s not a thief – he’s honest as you and me.
 
Champion amateur athletes live by a superior special honor code.
Hodges wouldn’t sell his honor for a dozen eggs. He wouldn’t go down that road."
 
"Then how do you account for my missing eggs? If you think you know it all”
Jerry said calmly "There’s must be another explanation, don’t get into a brawl
 
I can call Old Isaac on my cell phonejust to fill him in
Better yet, why don’t you call him?
