A startled Dandy
Watched Zachary disappear
In the thicket ahead
And he began to fear.
So desperately he tried
To avoid the pines
But then he got caught
In the neighboring vines.
Entangled and trapped
In the confusing green mess
He tried to eat his way out
But had no success.
“The tables are turning!”
Yelled a crow bookie named Mac.
“Ten to one odds,
In favor of Zack!”
