Uman Rosh Hashanah - Now What?

Uman Rosh Hashanah - Now What?

Don’t despair and don’t get depressed! This is the best Rosh Hashanah EVER! Don’t understand how? READ THIS URGENT MESSAGE FROM RABBI ARUSH FROM UMAN!

If you weren’t able to make it into Uman for Rosh Hashanah, know that you ARE here! You are part of the Kibbutz, just like every year. Everything is exactly the same. You are also here! The most important thing is the ratzon – your will, and your desire to be here. You wanted to be here, you tried to be here, you sacrificed yourself with prayers and preparations etc., and you are upset that you aren’t here. So you ARE here! You have received your tikkun just as if you were here. You lack for nothing for the fact that you aren’t physically by Rebbe Nachman this year. Nothing! The only thing you lack is the arrogance that you made it in the end.

Rebbe Nachman is not pushing anyone away. Just the opposite – those of you who prayed, who yearned to get here, you are so precious! Very, very important. The Rebbe is using your yearning, your wanting, the humiliations you suffered and your emuna to prepare even when there seemed to be no hope.

However, this year needs this tikkun, this spiritual rectification. Those who are in Uman are supposed to be here, and those who are not – Rebbe Nachman needs you where you are. Rebbe Nachman is doing something gigantic, something awesome and incredible this year. It’s not about you – it’s about bringing the Redemption. He is bringing Moshiach!

Here in Uman – there is terrible pain. There are police everywhere. The Tzion is essentially closed – you can’t really pray, even I can’t manage to pray at the Tzion. Really, it’s closed. And everywhere – it’s closed too. Israel is going to be in lockdown, and here in Uman, everything is locked down too.

But don’t let yourself get weakened. Recognize that the Rebbe closed everything. Everything is closed from Heaven! Hashem closed everything – in Uman, in Israel, wherever you are.

This year, Rebbe Nachman is doing a Kibbutz of the entire world! Wherever you are, you are part of the minyan. This is your work this year. All over the world, people are yearning and wishing they were in Uman. So the Rebbe, his Kibbutz this year covers the whole world!

With all of your mesirut nefesh (self-sacrifice), ready to pay any price to get to Uman, ready to do whatever it takes, thousands of hours of prayers – we have done a tikkun much, MUCH bigger than ever could have been done if everyone made it in the end!

Therefore, this is the sweetest Rosh Hashanah, the best Rosh Hashanah, that there ever was. This is the Rosh Hashanah that is bringing the Redemption! Just be happy! Smile, dance and don’t fall from your happiness and your emuna! Be very strong and say to Hashem, “I accept upon myself all of the suffering, everything, in order to bring Moshiach.”

Don’t be sad! If you will strengthen yourself to accept the situation with emuna and continue to be happy, you can attain even MORE than if you were in Uman!

Anyone who has any connection to Rebbe Nachman, and you yearn to be in Uman for Rosh Hashanah – channel that yearning into yearning for Moshiach. Every mitzvah I do, yearn for Moshiach.

Rebbe Nachman tells us to pray in the largest minyan possible on Rosh Hashanah. Therefore, wherever you are, all the Breslev Chassidim of the place should gather together to pray in as big a minyan as possible. And know, that you ARE part of the minyan in Uman! You are under the Rebbe’s wings, wherever you are.

It should be Hashem’s will, for sure this year will be a year of salvations, of healing, of blessings, happiness and the Full Redemption! Amen.
