Free as a Bird

“Free as a Bird” was originally recorded in 1977 by John Lennon. Yonatan Razel's rendition marks the 80th birthday and the 40th anniversary of Lennon's death.


Kan88, in collaboration with Helicon and  KanDigital,  mark  the  80th  birthday of John Lennon and 40 years since his death in a series  of special projects. Lennon, one of the greatest artists of all time, has left an indelible mark on musicians all over the world and is responsible for a long line of musical classics that have survived the test of time. 


Yonatan Razel's performance of the song 'Free as a Bird' is from the album 'Anthology 1'. The song was originally recorded in 1977 by John Lennon and commercially released in 1995 by members of the Beatles. Razel's performance gives the song a new and deep interpretation, in a breathtaking production by Roni Brown and Itai Tzuk.
