Revealing the Redemption

The closer we get to Moshiach and Geula, the full redemption of our people, the more and the faster Hashem is revealing the redemption by way of current events. It won't be surprising if there are dramatic changes in the world between the time of this writing and its publication.

Meet today's renewed Empire of Iran, which stretches from its border with Afghanistan and Pakistan in the east all the way to the Mediterranean in the west. How so? Iran controls Iraq, of course. The Iranian-controlled Shiite militias have filled the void that the pullout of US forces left in Iraq. As such, Iran and its Iraqi-Shiite-proxies now control Iraq as well. As we move further west to Syria, Assad's Iran-Hezbollah-assisted victory over ISIS and the rebels have rendered him subservient to Iran as well. The fact is that today, Iran and its proxy Hezbollah do as they please in Syria, including occupying territory in the Syrian side of the Golan that sits right on Israel's northeastern border.

To complete Iran's quest in spreading westward to the Mediterranean, earlier this month, Saad Hariri’s resignation as Premier of Lebanon toppled the puppet unity government that he headed. Hariri, a moderate, business-minded pro-Saudi Sunni Moslem, bemoaned the fact that Iran and its radical Shiite Lebanese proxy Hezbollah had already taken control over his country. This officially completes Iran's takeover of Lebanon, with the Iranian noose becoming tighter and tighter in Iraq and Syria as well. Meanwhile, Hariri is back in Lebanon, seemingly being forced back into his puppet prime-ministry; this is merely Iran's smokescreen to show the world that Lebanon is independent; it means nothing, for the Sunnis have lost control in Hezbollah-Iran ruled Lebanon.

If you remember, in our Emuna News broadcast from Ki Tavo 5777 (September 6, 2017), we described the above scenario, saying that it was imminent (see minute 15:30 to the end). This is merely a fulfillment of a prophecy in Jeremiah 1:14 as well as scenarios described throughout the Gemara, especially in the first three pages of tractate Avoda Zara as well as in tractate Yoma 10a. The Gemara in Yoma says that directly prior to Geula (Redemption), there will be a global conflict between the USA and its allies and between Iran and its allies. For that to happen, Iran must attain the status of an empire. Voila, here we have it.

Iran's quest to become an empire has also led to the Houthi revolution and takeover of Yemen. The Houthi rebels, Yemen's version of Hezbollah, are also a Shiite proxy of Iran. At the beginning of this month, the Houthis fired a ballistic missile that was intercepted over Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. The Saudis claim that the Houthis could not have done this without the help of Iran and Hezbollah and see this as an Iranian act of war.

For Saudi Arabia to confront Iran, the precondition of solidifying the anti-Iran alliance was necessary. That explains this month's Saudi Arabia Corruption purge and solidification of Crown Prince's Power – the corruption bust and the helicopter "accident" that rid Crown Prince Muhammed bin Salman (aka MBS) of Saudi Arabia of his internal rivals. The Crown Prince is now the strong man who is also dictating military moves. Some insiders view the purge as part of bin Salman's preparations for war against Iran. Here's how:

In recent days, Israel, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait have increased diplomatic contacts and intelligence sharing in light of what all parties consider the grave threats that Iran and its proxies pose to the area. What's more, the insults and saber-rattling between Iran and Saudi Arabia are increasing with every passing day.

Don't forget that MBS visited President Trump in Washington in March of 2017. He is also planning another trip to the White House early in 2018. Meanwhile, he has met several times with Jared Kushner, U.S. President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and senior advisor, who was in Riyadh again recently, his third trip to Saudi Arabia since Trump took office. He and Crown Prince MBS have established a close personal relationship.

In addition to the Gemaras that we previously cited, all of today's events are forecast in an amazing Midrash: "Rabbi Yitzchak said: 'In the year in which the Messiah-King appears, all the nations of the world are provoking each other. The King of Persia provokes the King of Arabia and the Arab king turns to Edom (USA) for advice. And the King of Persia goes back and destroys the entire world. And all the nations of the world are in panic and distress and they fall upon their faces and are seized with pains like those of a woman giving birth, and Israel are in panic and distress and asking 'where shall we go? Where shall we go?,' and He says to them 'My sons, do not fear; all that I have done, I have done only for you. Why are you afraid? Do not fear, your time of redemption has come" (Psikta Rabbati 36:2).

Meanwhile, Egypt, having suffered a devastating blow in Sinai this past Friday (24 Nov., 2017) leaving over 300 people dead in a massive ISIS attack, has closed the Gaza border, since Hamas has known to be an ISIS supporter and ally. As such, Egypt too will be cooperating more with Israel in the foreseeable future.

What should we be doing in the meanwhile? That's simple - teshuva and strengthening ourselves in emuna is the order of the day. In fact, spreading emuna is the best insurance in the world for weathering the turbulent times that precede Moshiach.
