One Meter of the New Building in Uman
Sponsor one meter of the new Chut shel Chessed building in Uman! The new building features four Beit Knesset where men can pray for free (a big improvement over the usual street minyanim), a hall for lectures, men’s and women’s mikvah, and much more.
We received a comment from someone who was asked to donate towards the building before Rosh Hashanah 2019 and declined. After Rosh Hashanah, he contacted the office saying, “I want you to let you know that I am so grateful for that new building! It became the center of my stay in Uman. No more packed mikvah at the old mikvah, a beautiful place to pray (not on the street) with nice chairs, classes, and more. I was literally going back and forth multiple times a day. As I saw how much this new building caters to the needs of so many for free, I took upon myself to donate one meter as soon as I got home.”
In addition to receiving a portion of the merit of all the learning, prayers and more that takes place in the building, you can submit up to three names for 40 Days of Prayer at the Western Wall, in addition to a plaque.
