G-d has no better vessel for giving a blessing than peace. Peace is the vessel, and the blessing is the inner contents. If the windows are wide open and the house is left open, of what use is his wealth, when everything will be stolen. The vessel is the means to achieve the blessing, because when the house is locked, the wealth is guarded. (The Baal Shem Tov).
