The town fool thinks that he is one of the wisest of the community. The town folk tell him he is a fool. One day he hears the rabbi explain the sentence of the Bible “Shomer Psayim Hashem,” – The Almighty protects the foolish… He says to himself this is my opportunity. I’ll jump off the highest building, if the Almighty protects me then I am truly a fool, but if I get hurt then I’ll have proven to all that I am a wise man. Off he goes to the top of the highest building and jumps off the roof of the three story building. Of course he broke many bones. While they rushed him off to the hospital they heard him moaning, “I knew I was a wise man. I didn’t realize how wise I was.”
