Sewing, cutting, tearing, etc. on Shabbos
In instances where we are allowed to cut on Shabbos, e.g. separating a pair of children’s shoes or removing the tag from a new garment, should we use a knife? Or are we allowed to use scissors? Is a shinui required, like using one’s non-dominant hand or something? Thanks!
