Rabbi Maimon describes the list of curses in the parsha. After the last curse, there is no "happy ending", so it can leave us feeling hopeless. Rebbe Shimon Bar Yochai shows the blessing hidden within each curse. Rabbi Maimon also expounds on the specialness of bichurim (bringing the first fruits of the field to the Beit HaMikdash) and its resultant rejoicing.
