Reb Shimshon Barsky
Rabbi Shimshon Barsky is a descendant of Rebbe Nachman of Breslev. He was one of the foremost teachers in Uman's Breslev community prior to the Stalinist purges. After Reb Shimshon passed away in 1935, his family escaped to Poland, and a number of his descendents now live in Eretz Yisrael and in the Chassidic community of Brooklyn, NY.
