With a unique rhythm and the use of Irish bagpipes, this song brings all Jews together. The Israeli rhythm catches your ear and you’ll be singing it nonstop!

The lyrics, written by Aharon and Efrat Razal, drew inspiration from the author of The Book of Psalms, David King. The song is based on Psalm 132:3-5.

LYRICS

If I enter the tent of my home;

if I go upon the bed that is spread for me;

if I allow sleep to my eyes, slumber to my eyelids;

Before I find a place for Hashem

And prayer rises up in the heart

For how long will there be exile and suffering

Return, daughter of the King, tthe royal city

Amidst the upheaval

A great light will emerge

Foxes climbed the mountain

What an oasis in the desert!

A bird also built her home

And a remaining daughter of Zion

Is alone in a deserted field.

And a prayer rises up in the heart …

Because God chose Zion to settle it

I will sit here; this is my rest resting place

Because I desire her.

And a prayer rises up in the heart …

The arrangement and production were done by Avi Tal and Aaron Razal. In his new album, Aharon collaborates with big names in the field of Hasidic Jewish music, such as Yuval Stoppel and Yulee Dickman. You’ll also hear Ishi Ribo, the Musicians Choir, and his brother Jonathan Razal.
